You will know from the news that teachers are negotiating with the Ministry of Education to try to get better work conditions so they can have more time teaching your children.
Strike action on Wednesday 31 May is now cancelled as the Ministry of Education has a new offer for teachers to consider. To give teachers time to discuss this new offer there will be Paid Union Meetings from 1pm to 3pm on Wednesday.
The Board of Trustees has decided to close the school at this time as we will not have enough teaching staff to make sure your children are supervised and safe at school.
School will be closed at 1.00pm, Wednesday, 31 May 2023, as NZEI teachers will be attending Paid Union Meetings
Please make other arrangements for care of your child.
